Set right on the south shore of Lake Tahoe in Stateline, Nevada, the resort is stunning at every location: a classy ceremony on the lakefront lawn with the Sierra Nevada rising behind you, a DJ + saxophone mixed cocktail hour on a rustic stone deck, and a reception in the North Room with windows that frame the whole thing so you can close out the night as beautifully as you began. Note for 2025–2027 couples
Edgewood is currently expanding its event spaces, with a new 5,600 sq ft ballroom, a lakefront private dining room, and an expanded heated outdoor deck expected to open in early 2027. Existing spaces remain fully operational. Ask me what this means for your specific date.
THE VENUE
The ceremony setup at Edgewood is about as good as it gets. The lawn on the beach with Lake Tahoe right behind you and Mt. Tallac as your back drop will leave your guests in awe! I keep all AV gear well out of your sightlines so the photos stay clean and your photos are just you, your people, and the lake. No matter the weather, Edgewood has options - which means you don't have to worry about a June blizzard interrupting your ceremony or wind blowing away your linens, and as the night cools off we will head inside for your incredible dance party!
Cocktail hour moves to the beautiful deck over looking the lake. This is the perfect time for me to begin increasing the tempo with your custom set list, slowly bringing the energy up for the reception to come! Then everyone comes inside for dinner and dancing. It’s an elegant room that makes for an incredible reception, with perfect acoustics and photos that will remind you of the best dance party of your life. The South Room works beautifully for smaller receptions and has the same character and a more intimate feel.

Reading the Room at Edgewood
Edgewood crowds are ready to have a good time, and they know what they're looking for. They tend to be well-traveled, they care about music, and they’ve usually been to enough weddings to know the difference between a DJ who’s playing songs and one who’s actually running the night. I live-mix everything to your custom taste, with your must-plays; no playlists, no autopilot. Dinner sets feel like dinner, and when the floor opens it feels like a party. Whether you're looking for it to feel like your own personal festival or an elegant soirée, I've got the music to create the mood.
I bring multiple sound systems to cover each space properly: lavaliere and handheld mics for the ceremony, cocktail hour speakers that keep things warm without drowning out the conversation, and a full reception sound system inside scaled to the North Room. Transitions are clean. Announcements are short. Nothing feels like it’s being read off a script. Your vision, brought to life.
WHAT TO KNOW
CEREMONY
Lakefront lawn, deck or 17th Green, there's no bad view from Edgewood. Ahead of your ceremony, I'll provide classy prelude music for 30 minutes as your guests arrive. For your ceremony, I provide a portable speaker, discreet handheld mics and a lavaliere mic for your officiant. If you have musicians accompanying the ceremony, I can easily coordinate.
RECEPTION
Once we move inside for dinner, it's time for the party to start! Edgewood's North Room (up to 150 guests) provides the perfect backdrop to an epic dance party, and the room has amazing acoustics. For more intimate weddings (up to 90 guests), the South Room maintains an elegant feel. This is the time of night for me to take to the DJ decks and make the room come alive for an unforgettable dance party.
